Burj Khalifa Dubai: classic of the future

With the smell of larger oil barrels and wells, how does it feel to see the world’s tallest tower with luxury painted and glass coated, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building(skyscraper) which gained a lot of popularity in Dubai and also raised the standards.

It took about five whole years to complete the entire architecture of Burj Khalifa it is also called Burj Dubai, the name Khalifa is to honor the president of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and ruler of Dubai.

The purpose of architecture from the earliest possible days of human evolution is to develop civilization and to look more modern and educated, Dubai used the trick of architecture to raise its standards in the world economy and to equalize itself with the world-leading countries.

Burj Khalifa Dubai

More than just an oil-producing country Dubai is also a place of tourism, the lavish and luxurious lifestyle of Dubai is way more advanced than many countries in this world, the government itself planned to build the skyscraper (Burj Khalifa) for the development project downtown Dubai.

Architecture Design

As Burj Khalifa is an experimental project it has to be something which is never been there before, the core architectural shape is a central hexagon core with three wings, and the design is derived from buildings like the great mosque of Samarra and the central design derived from Samsung tower 3 in South Korea, It is a mixture of cocktail design like Islamic architecture and futuristic architecture.

To impact the wider population of Islamic architecture, the core design follows Islamic architecture, Islamic architecture is a mixture of many architectural designs and evolved as an identity, every building designed from Islamic architecture has a sense of religion and spiritual essence, the spiral design of Burj Khalifa impacts the Islamic architecture style.

To create something new is to adapt to the growing trends and also consider the future within, Burj also used a futuristic design philosophy which made people wow at first sight, the futuristic architectural design is composed of long dynamic lines and strong usage of concrete in a very soft manner.

Materials used

When we look at Burj Khalifa: the tallest tower in the world may look like a bunch of glass that is perfectly designed and organized but when we look at it from an architect’s perspective, Burj Khalifa is made out of concrete, steel rebars, and curtains walls along with glasses.

The shape of the architecture is weird but modern at the same time, thanks to Adrian Smith for his clear visuals and inspiration from the futuristic and Islamic architectural styles.

Purpose of the Architecture

Every architecture has a purpose, like what a painting or literature does, it contains a theory or a philosophy to communicate, Burj Khalifa was designed with the concept of creating a standard for Dubai in the international standards and it does create and give Dubai new view from the outer world’s perspective.

With more houses, hotels luxury apartments, and offices, Burj Khalifa itself is a living environment in the modern era, it stands as an identity of Dubai to date.

Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest tower and was created for the purpose of raising the standard in the world economy, other than just the architectural philosophy and great design with a modern shape, Burj Khalifa is a wonder when we look.

Frank Lloyd home and studio: the treasure of Chicago

Frank Lloyd home and studio

Architecture is itself an art that is changing the lives of people and shaping the evolution of human civilization from the beginning, millions of architects have lived and lived in this world but still, only a few are considered masters and legends in the field of architecture.

When we do something for ourselves we have more freedom and less responsibility to carry on, but still, we do the work more carefully than before, likewise, the home and studio of architect Frank Lloyd Wright is an experimental design of organic architecture and also that’s where it all started.

(Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio, Oak Park, Illinois, Chicago built in 1889 and renovated in 1895 and restored in 1909.)

Frank Lloyd home

Frank Lloyd had complete architectural control of the house from the beginning, it is an example and inspiration for young architects, the initial design of the house was in shingle architecture design, which contains highly exclusive ornamental patterns in the building but then by years, frank Lloyd experimented something which created an evolution in the field of architecture.

Architecture Philosophy

More than just a house for living, it is like experimenting with something with his creativity and architecture, today Frank Lloyd’s House is like a syllabus for the young and future generation architect students and also for actual architects, Frank Lloyd’s House is a mixture of shingle architecture with colonial American architecture for more living spaces but then it is also where the prairie architecture is born.

Frank used his own architectural style rather than just following what his ancestors taught and followed, in all of his work he imprinted his architectural style and it can be found clearly in Frank Wright’s home and studio in Oak Park, Chicago.

Frank Wright is well known for his organic architecture style and also for connecting human, architecture with nature, he used wood to decorate his own house and studio with the same brownish color, the house is a work of classic fiction which is extraordinarily luxurious in look and excellent in its design.

The decorations inside the house are an inspiration for today’s interior design, Frank is a great artist too he had a sense of art and applied it to his self-work, the windows and the furniture also symbolized “how to use the right thing to the right place which adds value to the present environment”, from window to roofs the value of the household of its material and also rightly placed.

Purpose of the house

More than just staying under the roof when it rains and when it colds, the house is a place of memories and it connects us with ourselves, Frank understood it in the very beginning and designed each part of his house to serve its purpose, the design of a fireplace in the frank house is a great example, it serves as a reading, thinking purposes along with keeping the heat under control.

We can even say that every piece of the house and studio serves some purpose when it is built.

Interior Design

Interior design is like jewels to the house, at the early days of the 19th and at the end of the 18th century, architecture was considered to shaping the modern culture of civilization, Frank Wright applied classic interior designs like the human shapes and various classic sculptures inside the house with contrasting color to the wall, he even used iron chains for decoration which displays his creativity, the art in wall also created an impact for the interior designs and sculptures played an important role like  Winged Victory of Samothrace and Beethoven placed accordingly.

Frank Lloyd’s home and studio in Oak Park itself is a school for architects to learn and to be inspired like a book of treasures to get amazed and to learn something new every time we look at it.

After Falling Waterfall Building, is considered the most iconic architecture of Frank Wright and it has its own purposes, designing great architecture is designed for a purpose and also to be an inspiration for the future generation.

Darwin D. Martin’s House is an ordinary living house with an extraordinarily simple design, Frank Wright is a genius in connecting people with nature, and most of his architecture does the purpose in its own way, Darwin’s house design is enveloped with more wood, more space rather than chunks of small rooms, the organic architecture style implements the feel of being in a freedom state rather than to feel inside the four designed walls.

Frank may also study the psychology of people and nature thus reflecting in each of his works, to keep the touch with nature Frank used more wooden designs like walls and tables in the Darwin Martin house and also reduced unwanted rooms and necessaries to make more space to feel the complete architecture.

Martin House Architecture style

Darwin D. Martin House is a neat and simple design but with extraordinary style to get inspired on, with more wooden interior and wood-like texture in walls which are also of tree brown color, D. Martin house doesn’t contain unwanted rooms rather it is a complete architecture with more space.

Darwin D. Martin house

From windows to doors and interiors, the usage of wood plays a fair role and it also defines Floyd Wright’s sense of nature like his every other work.

Darwin D. Martin’s house is a great example of simple design and yet it is a masterpiece, Young architects should learn to design neatly and make it a trademark. The color used in Darwin’s house is also a great example of choosing the right color will add more style to the work.

Architecture Philosophy

The architecture itself is a story that can be heard only if we look into it deeply, Darwin house also holds a story, to be great is to be simple, the simple and neat design is the key to the success of Darwin House, rather than just being a house of Mr. Darwin the Darwin D. Martin house is a museum for today’s architects.

To feel the architecture of the house, Frank Wright designed it with more space to occupy rather than separating it into several small rooms, with the wooden design it also has a sense of nature and that’s how it became a trademark of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Darwin house is more than just architecture, it is indeed a great art in the form of bricks and cement with wood inside, simplicity is the key to greatness.

Academy of Performing Arts Centre | The initialization of idea

With the passage of time, our generation is losing touch with their roots and cultural heritage. One such heritage is our cultural art forms of Shrimanta Shankara deva. So I wanted to design something where all his art forms are taught in a single place so that people from our generation can learn about that and be able to grasp the very concept of it. Moreover, no such institution has been built in Assam, India where traditional art forms of Assamese culture can be studied together. The handful of institutes that do exist today are fragmented where unification is missing. So I wanted to design an institution where all of these art forms are collectively accessible.
